Biography
Mark is Reader in Human Geography, before working at King's he held lectureships in Geography at the University of Liverpool, UK and the University of Guyana.
Mark is a lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and working on the 'Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation' (SREX) Report and will contribute a section on urban issues in the Fifth Assessment Report for working group II: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability.
