Biography
Marcus Köhler is a Lecturer in Climate-Environment Interactions and member of the Environmental Monitoring & Modelling Research Group.
Marcus joined the Department of Geography in 2008. Previously he worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the Centre for Atmospheric Science in the University of Cambridge, where he also obtained his Ph.D. in Atmospheric Chemistry. Prior to moving to the United Kingdom Marcus graduated with a Masters in Meteorology from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany. During this time he also carried out research work at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Marcus is Admissions Tutor for the MSc programmes EMMM, Carbon, GEC, and WSG. He is also a member of the department's Undergraduate and Postgraduate Board of Studies.
