Biography
Karen is currently a Lecturer in Geography at King's College London.
She has worked previously in the Department of Geography at Durham University and from 2000-2005 she worked on a major Leverhulme Programme on 'Understanding Risk' at the University of East Anglia.
Karen's main research interests are:
i) cultural, scientific and political understandings of environmental / technological risk
ii) governing energy and the ethics of environmental citizenship
iii) the social and material dynamics of waste economies
