Department of Geography
Based in the very heart of London on the College's Strand Campus, the Department of Geography at King's is among the very best internationally, as confirmed by the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.
Drawing on the best traditions of Geography as an integrative academic subject, our international outlook and interdisciplinary approach put us at the very heart of the College’s plans for making its research more integrated, engaged, and policy relevant.
With more than 50 academic and research staff, 350 undergraduates, 250 masters students and nearly 100 PhD students, we are a large department with an annual research income of more than £1 million. Despite our size, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly and supportive environment for research and study.
