Electives for visiting students

We offer elective placements to final year medical students in a variety of subject areas ranging from a minimum of four, to a maximum of eight weeks.
 
The electives are based at our main teaching hospitals so successful applicants will be placed at either King's College Hospital, Guy's Hospital, St. Thomas' Hospital or University Hospital Lewisham.

We are no longer accepting applications for electives starting between October 2010 and January 2011. The application deadline for this period has now passed.
 
If you wish to apply for an elective starting between February and May 2011 you will be welcome to send in your application from the beginning of September 2010. The deadline for applications will be Friday 5 November 2010. No elective will be arranged until the deadline has passed.
 
Please note that a new immunisation form has been added so you are required to submit this one rather than the old one.
